Last orders to guarantee pre-Christmas delivery is on: Wednesday 11th December 2019. We would advise placing an order now to avoid any disappointment.
Walker’s Logs new investment
To help us with operating the yard more efficiently we have decided to invest in a new forklift, supplied by Linde Severnside Limited. This is our fourth forklift and can lift 2 tonnes. This will help with jobs such as loading and unloading the kilns.
Christmas Shutdown:
We will be closed from Monday 23 rd December at 5.30PM, and re-opening on Thursday 2 nd January at 7.00AM. Thank you for your custom this year, Fred and Jenny would also like to thank all the staff at Walker’s Logs who do a fantastic job!
Walker’s Logs 2019
Walker’s Logs have had a fun, busy working year! Here are a few statistics about what we’ve done this year;
- We have processed 5 million logs at our yard in the Cotswold, which if stacked end to end would cover 718 miles!
- We have removed 1.38 million litres of water from our wood, which is the equivalent to 46 petrol tank lorries!
- We have used 20 tonnes of metal to create our own stillages.
