Top Tip – never buy firewood by weight, as wet logs weigh a lot more than dried ones, and unless the load comes with a weighbridge ticket, you never really know what you are getting.

For single and double loose log loads we use a tipper lorry to deliver in the Cotswolds and therefore these products are only available in certain postcodes: those that begin with GL, OX, SN, WR and CV

My lean to shed for the logs is quite a distance from where the lorry parks and the stacker/driver was friendly and worked hard. However the stacking was not as tidy as usual and I had to get a tarpaulin to cover some of the logs that were over the boundary and would have been rained on. It was getting dark by the time he finished so it might have been easier if I had had a morning delivery. I didnt look in the shed until the following morning.
