Our new boiler and kiln have arrived, and construction work begins on 19th May. The process should take around 4-5 weeks, and we are hoping to commission the new equipment by the end of June.

The new kiln, running alongside our other kilns, will increase our production capacity, and enable us to fulfil orders faster.

This is the new biomass boiler, temporarily under tarpaulins until the kiln can be built around it. It weighs 14 tonnes – so we thought we better build the kiln around it, instead of trying to push it through the doors!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The log drying kiln arrived yesterday, in about a thousand different pieces! Good luck putting it all together!
