How Walker’s Logs are keeping busy in the summer
The summer months are our quietest times of the year for deliveries to customers, but we are always kept busy! The summer months are the perfect opportunity for us to catch up.
At the moment we are busy servicing our machinery, and boilers and working hard to stockpile ready for the winter rush.
Covid-19 Update: Local stacking of loose loads
We are closely following Government guidelines to ensure that Walker’s Logs can operate as usual and to ensure that we are carrying out work as safely as we possibly can.
We are still delivering and accepting new orders; and we are now offering our stacking facility on our loose loads of logs, in a socially responsible manner.
To ensure we are all kept as safe as possible and adhere to the social distancing rules to protect our staff and customers, we will only be offering our stacking outdoors, or in out-buildings and not inside customers homes.
We are still allowing collections of our kiln dried log bags, kindling and firelighters to take place.
However, as we do have social distancing rules in place, we are carrying out a contact-free collection service. To place an order for collection, please call 01285 720940 to arrange this.
