A Day in the Life of a Walker’s Logs Delivery Driver
As the days grow shorter and road conditions more unpredictable, we’d like to take a moment to appreciate the work our Walker’s Logs firewood delivery drivers do, especially throughout this busy autumn and winter season.
Our log delivery drivers start bright and early each morning, their first task is to collect the delivery tickets from the office and double check that their trucks are fully loaded with logs, kindling and everything else they need ready to go. Then it’s time to hit the road for the first firewood deliveries of the day.
Throughout the day, our drivers make several trips back to our log yard to collect new delivery tickets, reload their vehicles and then head back out. You will often see them moving log bags or neatly stacking logs at customers’ properties – even in the worst weather conditions.
No two days are ever the same for our team. Each delivery route takes them through scenic villages and rural areas, making every day a little different from the last.
Our drivers are a vital part of the Walker’s Logs team. For many of our customers, they’re the only face-to-face contact they have with us. That is why we value friendly, helpful and professional service so highly.
We’re incredibly grateful for the hard work and dedication shown by our drivers.
Thank you for everything you do!
