Delivery Information, Refunds & Returns
We are pleased to offer free delivery of logs to all customers within England and Wales. Enjoy the convenience of having logs brought directly to you at no additional cost. Whether you’re an individual or a business, we’re here to serve you.
Local Log Delivery
If you reside within the postcode areas of GL, OX, SN, WR or CV one of Walker’s Logs friendly delivery drivers can deliver a variety of high quality kiln dried hardwood log products straight to your doorstep. Our loads that can be delivered to you locally are: a Single Load of Kiln Dried Hardwood Logs, a Double Load of Kiln Dried Hardwood Logs, 48 x Kiln Dried Log Bags, 80 x Kiln Dried Logs bags. Additionally, we do occasionally have our Single Load of Kiln Dried OFFCUTS and Double Load of Kiln Dried OFFCUTS available for purchasing on our website.

For our Single Load and Double Load of Kiln Dried Hardwood Logs, delivery is carried out loose and tipped upon delivery by our drivers in a tipper truck. We do offer an optional stacking service, which must be arranged at the point of order. The stacking fee is chargeable for our Single Loads or Double Loads. Please note that we do not provide a stacking service for our OFFCUT loads of logs.
Our stacking service is based on the drivers being able to access the designated stacking area with relative ease from their parked vehicles. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate stacking requests that involve significant distances, climbing numerous steps or entering customer homes. Should you have specific stacking needs, please do not hesitate to reach out to us for further discussion.
Our standard delivery lead time is typically between 3 to 5 working days. However, this may vary based on customer demand – particularly during the busy winter months where lead times may extend, or during the quieter summer months, where our lead time may decrease.
Local deliveries take place between 7am – 5:30pm. While we cannot provide an exact delivery time, we can usually arrange deliveries for either the morning or afternoon. If you would like an update on your delivery on the day it is scheduled, please give us a call. We will do our best to provide a more precise update or request that our drivers contact you when they are on the road with your delivery.
IMPORTANT: Please be aware that any orders for delivery that are cancelled or rescheduled within 1 working day of the scheduled delivery day will incur a cancellation fee of £25.00.
Nationwide Log Delivery
We can offer our palletised products delivered free of charge to England and Wales. If you’re located outside of England and Wales and wish to purchase one of our palletised items, please do get in touch for a delivery quote.
Our delivery options include a pallet of 48 x kiln dried log bags, 80 x kiln dried logs bags and small / medium / large bulk bags of kiln dried hardwood logs. These come on 1m x 1.2m pallets, with the height of the product varying according to the order.
We use an external pallet delivery service for our palletised products, delivering on a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
The delivery team at the pallet line delivery company will make every effort to place the pallet on your driveway; however, there may be instances where this is not feasible, and the pallet may be left kerbside.
The standard lead time for nationwide deliveries is 3-5 working days. We can schedule this in for a weekday to best suit you.
Third party haulier deliveries will take place between 8am – 6pm. While we cannot guarantee a specific time for delivery, we will reach out to the delivery company on the day of delivery to provide you with a rough estimated time of arrival. If you would like to have a guaranteed morning or afternoon delivery, please get in touch to discuss the additional service fee for this.
Please ensure that someone is available on the day to accept the delivery. In the event of any access issues leading to the driver being unable to deliver or if no one is present to accept the delivery, re-delivery charges will apply.

DPD Next Working Day Delivery – Coming Soon
Free Next Working Day Delivery on orders over £30.00 in England and Wales. Surcharges may apply for deliveries outside of this area. Please get in touch if you would like to enquire about deliveries outside of England and Wales.

The order cut off for DPD Next Working Day Delivery is 1PM.
Please allow an additional working day for delivery on orders placed on public holidays and over the weekend. For example:
- Orders placed on a Saturday / Sunday will be delivered the following Tuesday.
- Orders placed on a bank holiday Monday will be delivered the following Wednesday.
Refunds & Returns
Under the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013, customers have the right to cancel an order from the moment an order is placed and ends 14 days from the day the goods are delivered. To cancel an order, customers must get in touch with Walker’s Logs within this time frame. Once this time period has elapsed, Walker’s Logs are not liable to accept a cancellation request.
Walker’s Logs are not liable for the cost involved to return a cancelled order and all fees to return the goods must be covered by the customer.
The goods must be returned back to Walker’s Logs in the state that they were delivered and once the order has been returned, Walker’s Logs will refund the funds back to the customer.
In the event of the goods not being suitable for use, please contact us to discuss a replacement of goods or to arrange returning the goods and a refund.
